Nancy Weinmaster joined Presperse as Marketing Director with the singular focus for which she has come to be recognized in the personal care and beauty industry

Her approach is rooted in her philosophy of wholistic wellness and she is mindful, artistic and effective in creating products that empower people to be, to feel and to live their most beautiful selves.

Bringing with her over 25 years of experience and excellence, Nancy complements and elevates the organization with her deep ‘triad of expertise’ in Marketing, Technical and Product Development. On the Branded side, her background includes notable roles as a senior executive responsible for numerous product development successes at Murad and Guthy-Renker which solidified their respective platforms in industry-recognized skincare innovation.

While on the contract manufacturing side, she applied her strategic business skills to develop hundreds of widely-admired formulations for major clients such as P&G, Frederic Fekkai and Beauty Counter. Now at Presperse, Nancy is instrumental in developing comprehensive marketing strategy that perfectly aligns with the most business-critical emerging and future BTB and BTC trends.

With an insatiable appetite for continual personal and professional growth, Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, and continues to work to a Doctorate in Spiritual Psychology. In her personal time, Nancy enjoys yoga, meditation, spending time with her friends and family and of course bonding with her Bernedoodle “Otis.”

Skinification – The Derma Sphere Steps Up to Scalp Care

Skinification is a climbing trend for scalp care products and is present in 53% of the new 2021 hair care launches, according to NPD. Sophisticated skincare ingredients, such as microbiome and biomimetic ingredients, are being sought. And, tried and true ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide take these launches by storm. We are learning that a healthy scalp with reduced inflammation and added ingredients for soothing keep an overall nurtured scalp will not only allow for healthy hair but help prevent hair loss.

Midlife Beauty

Unsatisfied with a lack of representation in beauty and fed up with feeling invisible, midlife consumers want brands to not only meet their needs but empower them. Midlife is generally considered to span the ages of 45-65; it’s a group that has long felt ignored by the media and brands and forced out of the workplace. However, midlife is being rebranded, and empowerment is everywhere. There is even a new term, Queen-Agers, for whom the party is only getting started.

These Queen-agers are forcing the industry to recognize their needs and age diversity. The pro-aging movement is raising to tackle this dilemma. Furthermore, Queen agers not only have deep pockets but are willing to spend money on prestige skincare brands. According to recent statistics, 68% of midlife women make significant investments of time and money in their beauty regimes, and 54% of women over 45 purchase cosmetics compared with 33% of women under 45
